These balls are no joke!

You may think it's an April Fool joke if someone told you balls in your dryer will shorten the drying time, and make your clothes soft. Well, they do. These dryer balls from The Container Store do the trick. Once you get past the thumping in your dryer, you will be happy with the results. Shorter drying time saves energy, and no need to purchase fabric softener also saves you money, and helps you do your part to save the environment.

Earth Day is April 22nd. We have come along way with reducing, reusing, and recycling. However, we can always do a bit more. What will you do differently this year to keep our environment clean and healthy?

Chopping for the right cutting board.

I am in the market for a small cutting board. One that serves the purpose of cutting a lime wedge for a gin and tonic. I hate lugging out our larger ones. I dare not cut on the quartz counter tops. I know they are durable, but I just can't. I am a fan of Epicurean Cutting Boards. They are dishwasher safe, lightweight, and easy to store. They are green and made in America. Duluth Minnesota to be exact. The 8x6 would be perfect for those small, quick jobs. The black is sexy, right? What do you use for your cutting and chopping needs? Plastic, or wood? Simple, or colorful? Happy slicing and dicing!
