This past Sunday Craig and I adventured downtown to shop at Century 21. We went fairly early, thinking we would avoid the crowds of European tourists. It was crazy. Craig found a couple of sweaters. Century 21 is like TJ Maxx, but with higher end designers like Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, etc. The store is large, but the racks are cramped and over loaded. You have to be willing to dig, push, and shove. Good deals can be found.

After our shopping adventure we walked up to see the new Barnes&Noble store in Tribecca. It was nice, but not very busy. There is still a lot of construction going on in the building it is in. Once that is all done it will be great. We then headed back downtown and had brunch at Anthony Bourdain's Les Halles Downtown. We both had Bloody Mary's that were very spicy, and OEUFS BÉNÉDICTE. Fresh squeezed orange juice and croissant were also served as part of the brunch. The service was not great. In fact we overheard our waiter say to another coworker he wanted to put a gun to his head! Nice. That afternoon we saw the movie "The Golden Compass". It wasn't that great, and very violent. Craig advised there are 2 more books in the series, so watch for more movies potentially.
