A few weekends ago we took the "A" train to the northern point of Manhattan and visited the Cloisters. The Cloisters ia a branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art devoted to art of medieval Europe. It was beuatiful, and the weather was crisp and cool. The leaves were finally turning. I felt like I was in Europe for the afternoon. David would love this place!

After our tour and subway ride home, we stopped at a new restaurant near our place, Nizza. It was delicious. We have actually recreated the appetizer we had at home. Crustini with ricotta cheese, drizzled with balsamic vinegar, and the topped with proscuitto. The portions were perfect and the service was good. we walked by the other night and it was busy, so hopefully they will do well.
