It has been a busy few weeks! We have been to the Encore Series Production of "Juno". (Not too good.) We have seen La Boheme, and Ernani at the Met, and "Gypsy" with Patti Lapone. (Amazing, and I am sure we will see it again!)Seeing La Boheme at the Met was literally a dream come true. Puccini is my favorite composer, and the production was awesome. Before La Boheme we went to Cafe Luxembourg, which is near Lincoln Center. We enjoyed a wonderful French prix fixe menu. Our waitress was in fact French, and she was speaking both French and English. We both attempted to parle Francais. The above photo is of my dessert, warm chocolate cake. It was pretty darn authentic. The decor was done well, and food was very good. Almost felt like Paris!

Yesterday I made Devil's Food Cupcakes, with a Peanut Butter Frosting. Yum! We have not been eating out so much, but when we have we are trying new places. Penelope was a nice little place with good, simple food, and not too expensive. Good Artichoke Dip.

I adventured to Target in Brooklyn. It was not that far actually. It was a lot like the Target in downtown Minneapolis, only difference is the shelves in Minneapolis are full. This Target in Brooklyn is only one of a few in NYC. It was nice to shop in somewhere familiar, and the prices are lower than Duane Reade or CVS.

The weather is getting a bit warmer, and a lot of the trees are flowering or budding. We will need to get to Central Park to check out what's going on there this Spring. We also went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I forget how huge it is. We only really checked out the temporary installations. Jasper Johns was cool.
